Founded by three Airline Captains who collectively have over 65,000+ flying hours. They have experience in being Management Pilots, Training Captains and Simulator Instructors.

Our Accountable Manager is a former Chief Pilot and Management Pilot who has trained pilots for several major airlines

Our Head of Flight Training is an Airline Captain who has worked for major airlines in the Far East and in the Middle East

Between them they have operated B737, L1011, A320, A330, A340, B757, B767 and B747-400, and have collectively over 130 years of flying experience
It is our aim at Red bird aviation flight academy to educate the students who are chasing their dream in aviation, and to guide them to be aviators who will be team leaders and soar to great heights.

A highly trained Engineering team led by our Engineering Manager, maintain the fleet in pristine condition
Discussions and presentation forums on aviation related topics will be conducted regularly by Airline Captains, who will motivate the students
Flight Instructors and Ground Instructors who will provide personal attention to every student
Due to the large fleet of aircraft, the students are ensured of an uninterrupted flying schedule

RED BIRD AVIATION FLIGHT TRAINING ACADEMY is located at Hangar No 3, Colombo Airport, Ratmalana.

RED BIRD AVIATION SRI LANKA at present has two Cessna 172 aircraft. Due to the large fleet of aircraft we have, the student is ensured of an uninterrupted flying schedule.
Cessna 152
RED BIRD AVIATION SRI LANKA at present has four Cessna 152 aircraft. Our aircraft are painted in sporty looking colours to add to the extra glamour of the flying experience.
