A Flight Instructor is a professional pilot certified to teach others how to fly. Becoming a flight instructor requires additional training, both in the classroom and in the air, to ensure proficiency in teaching and evaluating student pilots.
To become a certified flight instructor, you’ll first complete 120 hours of ground school. You’ll learn how to effectively teach complex flying concepts to students, manage flight training sessions, and ensure a high standard of aviation knowledge.
